Jobs Openings at the Y

The Henderson County YMCA has openings for three part time positions -- a Lifeguard, Swim Team Coach and Wellness Center Associate. Here are the details:

POSITION TITLE: Lifeguard

Description:
Under the direction and guidance of the aquatics supervisor and consistent with the mission and policies of the Henderson County Family YMCA, the Lifeguard oversees the aquatic facility and aquatic activities to ensure the safety of all members and program participants. The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all areas in and around the pool. He/She is also accountable for knowing and properly executing all aquatic policies, procedures and duties.

POSITION TITLE: Swim Team Coach

Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Supervisor, the Swim Team Coach is responsible for providing instruction and workouts that will prepare participants for their individual needs.

POSITION TITLE: Wellness Center Associate

Description:
Under the direction of the Wellness Supervisor, the Wellness Center Associate provides leadership for the Wellness Center in accordance with the guidelines of the Wellness and Fitness Department. He/she incorporates the YMCA Core Values when working with members and staff, orients new and existing members on the equipment and in the FitLinxx system and helps maintains a friendly, clean wellness center and YMCA.
